The Best Bad Things by Katrina Carrasco5/25/2023 ![]() ![]() She transgresses genre and form to produce projects such as To Love the Coming End (Book*hug/Chin Music Press 2017) and The Gift (Book*hug 2019). Those dreams led her to words and music, arms reaching for instruments, random library discoveries, and an opportunity to make you laugh. Leanne Dunic was a child growing up on Vancouver Island when she first started dreaming about Paul McCartney. Katrina is currently writing a new novel. The book won a Shamus Award for Best First Novel, and was a finalist in the Washington State Book Awards and the Lambda Literary Awards. Her debut novel, The Best Bad Things, was published in 2018 by MCD/Farrar, Straus and Giroux. ![]() In 2017 Katrina received a Grants for Artist Projects award from Artist Trust.
